Our Saturday was pretty eventful but it was nice to go somewhere new. We woke up super early to head out to Houston to explore a bit before the party we had later that night. J and I went ahead of the crowd so we got to spend some alone time on Valentine's Day. We didnt take many pictures that day but I managed to take a few of us together. Khema Boardwalk was small but a great place to go walk around in.

Later that day we went to my cousins fifteen birthday celebration. I definitely didn't take any pictures of us dressed up. I just didn't like how I looked. I forgot a lot of things at home that my hair was not the prettiest. HAHA! We didn't get back to the hotel room until 1 or 2 am. I was extremely exhausted the following day for lack of sleep plus we had a 3 hour drive back home. Let me just say, "Really Houston is their a necessity for soooo many toll roads?" Geez! After figuring out how to avoid toll roads on our GPS we were ok.

The following morning my aunt invited us to eat at her place. J and I decided not to attend since we were exhausted and knowing we would probably be there til late. We ended up going to a nice restaurant and got to spend some more alone time. With all these hormones going crazy I tend to miss J more than usual. I even cry at times when I eat breakfast by myself at home. Sigh!

J got to enjoy his Michelada, yes he gets cravings too!

It seems since I came back to work I'm having difficulty finding the time to update my blog. Things have been great so far. Baby and mommy are doing great. Last week we had our NT scan + blood work done and everything looked great. Baby was measuring right on track well except the head. Bahaha! I guess my baby its going to have a big head measuring exactly a week ahead from the rest of the body. We were looking at some of my baby pictures and J made a joke about baby having my head. I'll have to post the picture even if it's embarrassing.

This pregnancy is finally becoming real to me. J has his moments of worry but I can't deny there's moments I start to think this is too good to be true. Maybe once we find out the gender everything will feel more real. At least in my part it will because I get to go shopping.

Today was my OB appointment and according to their scale I have gained 3 pounds. I'm in denial only for the sole reason that I don't see any change in my body as of yet AND I tend to weigh myself at my moms house. According to her scale I haven't gained  pound. Now I'm curious to know what her scale says. Dr V says my weight gain isn't bad but he wants me to slow down on it to make sure I don't gain to much. J of course tells me I can gain as much as I want he doesn't mind. (Smiling) let's just say he has been experiencing some of my pregnancy symptoms and has gained a pound or three himself. I never actually believed men can experience pregnancy symptoms until I saw it with my own eyes.

After my appointment with Dr V I stopped by my old RE clinic. They're in the same area and I needed to empty out my sharps containers. Hehehe! Everyone was pleased to see me. Dr B was shocked that I wasn't showing yet. She casually asked how far along I was thinking I was 12 weeks. When I told her I was going to be 15 weeks on Sunday she was amazed. I feel like everyone telling me I won't show til 18-20 weeks is going to jinx me and my stomach will start popping overnight. Which I don't mind at all I need something to remind me I'm pregnant. At first I thought I was weird for forgetting sometimes but my cousin said she was the same way. Once she felt the baby move its when it really hit her that she was going to be a mom. Can't wait!

Well for now this is it...need to get to work. Will update later with a bump update later.
